Making Connections

Valley Christian Church is people. People who desire to connect Jesus Christ in a life-giving and life-sustaining way. We want you to know Christ and the life He has for you now — a life full of hope and love.

We connect Christ to the everyday needs and struggles each of us face. We want everyone to know the joy of a life free from fear and guilt. A life lived in the truth that Jesus has forgiven our sin and loves us more than His own life.

We want to connect people to each other through Jesus. Jesus prayed that His followers would be one so that the world would be won. We yearn for authentic and visible unity among Christ-followers through His Spirit, not through prescribed belief statements or church hierarchy. We know we do not understand or do everything perfectly. That's why we say, "We are not the only Christians but Christians only."

Changing Lives

If you're interested in joining us in our life-changing walk with Christ, we invite you to come along.

Step One: Come Forward

An opportunity is given at the close of each weekend worship service to come forward and become a member of Valley Christian Church.

Step Two: Talk with a Decision Guide

Our Pastor, Elders and members of the Outreach committee can introduce you to someone who will talk with you individually regarding your decision. If that's not a convenient option or if you have any questions, please call (218)233-7856 and leave a message if no one is available, so we can return your call as soon as possible.

Step Three: Get Baptized

If you have never been immersed in baptism as a believer before, an opportunity is given at the close of each weekend worship service to come forward to be baptized. You can also talk with our Pastor or the Elders to discuss this important step or to schedule another time.

"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." — Romans 6:4

Watch our baptism sermon from 6/19/11 to learn more about the importance role baptism plays in the lives of believers. Be patient, please, as it's a large file and will take time to load.
