Discipleship at Valley

Real Simple Biblical

I Will Find My Place of Service

There is a big difference between showing up at church and BEING the church. Using your God-given gifts and talents enables you to be part of something much greater than yourself.

Early Christians were first of all disciples of Christ, and so they devoted themselves to learning from those who had been discipled by Jesus himself. Simply put, discipleship is training to become like the Master. This is the ultimate goal of every Christ-follower. Paul says as much when he tells us that the goal of the Christian walk is to be transformed into the image of Jesus. (Romans 8:29 and 2 Corinthians 3:18)

Serving at VCC is the bridge that will take you from attending to belonging. When you serve in a chosen ministry area, you have an opportunity to make a real difference; and along the way, church will feel less overwhelming and more like home.
